Happy New Year!

I had a wonderful birthday on the 31st. MaLynda took us out for breakfast at IHOP and then Caleb and I decided to go to St. George. I've been wanting to go to the Mongolian BBQ forever. So he took me. We went to the mall, Rebecka loved it! And then stopped off to see my nieces. It was a fun filled day.
My brother Steven was in town for a bit so on the 1st we went down to New Harmony to see him. The snow was fun and we even got a cute picture of Rebecka on her first sled.

Later I was on the internet and came across some horoscopes. This is what the year has in store for Rebecka. We thought it was funny!

Virgo Horoscope 2009
Wonderful things are in store for you this year, Virgo! You're experiencing tremendous feelings of rebirth and, as you release old ways of expressing yourself, you'll find yourself walking into all kinds of new experiences. Virgo loves to make sure everything is clear, concise and methodical, and this will help make it easy for you to graciously receive and beautifully adapt to the growth you are experiencing. You'll feel very peaceful with the changes happening both inside and outside of you, and you welcome the opportunity to express the new knowledge you gain.
There's a renaissance going on within you that seems to have been asleep for sometime now. You discover where the doorway is and are ready to consciously find new meaning in your life, and to manifest who you are in your own way. Mentally, culturally, instinctually and spiritually, you'll be going through incredible transformation this year. Your fresh take on life will give you the ability to manifest a new reality. You take a big leap forward as you share these changes with others

'SNOW' MUCH FUN!

I guess everyone wants a white Christmas. It has been a while since my last one so the Lord wanted to give me another. It started snowing Christmas Eve until the middle of Christmas Day. The end result,... We got snowed in! As romantic as this sounds, it kinda wasn't. Our van doesn't drive the best in the snow and ice and Caleb was supposed to be to work early the next day so we were a little stressed. Plus the fact that we only brought enough diapers for two days not three. Thank goodness for prepared Grandpas! We spent the 26th digging ourselves out. After a total of close to 8 hours of work we were finally free.

Christmas

We started Christmas a little late this year. We didn't get up until 7:30! That is a record for us, as kids we were up at least 5 times before 4:30, when we could actually get up. What a bunch of party-poopers we've turned into.

Rebecka had fun staring at all of us opening presents. She most likely thought we were a bit crazy. She loves the blocks that Santa left her, her favorite thing though is the crinkle book that Grandma got for her.
