I'm Awesome!

Here is Mom's kitchen, before I manned-up and took down MaLynda's pottery. Now don 't get me wrong, MaLynda is AMAZING with clay, but it just didn't fit anymore. The Kitchen needed to grow up with the rest of us.

*NOTE: ignore our grungy look, It's Apple Day 2008
You're supposed to be looking at the top of the cupboards :)

The unveiling of Mom's Kicthen

As you can tell I'm pretty proud of myself. Especially because it cost me under $5. I found everything there! I had to buy the vine, but it was 90% off! And the greenery came from my wedding. I'm so COOL!

I JUST HAD TO SHOW YOU!

So this past weekend I lent out my sewing machine and needed something to do while I waited for its return. This is what I did on Monday and Tuesday.

The blocks on the new shelf will one day morph into some that say 'baby', not spring.

The vinyl says: Baby the beginning of all things Wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities.

I even took a video to give you a virtual tour!

I have a painted wall now! My house is coming a HOME!
I just had to show you (mostly Rachel, I think she is only one that reads this) :)

Baby Shower

I gave my SIL a baby shower yesterday and wanted to show off all my cute decorations! So here they are:

I had fun making these little bead tassels for the table runner.

Caleb was so good to help me make the Baby Girl banner

I wanted to make a diaper cake, this is my version of one.

Had a blast making Martha Stewart poof balls. I made them into flowers with two colors. Made some bath salts to add some texture with the candle. Took me a month to find just ONE fake Gerber Daisy :(. Kinda a good thing that Robert's is going under here, saved me a ton of money!
This is some of the food. I just had a few dips and some dip-ables.

AND we actually had some people come! (I'm being serious. We didn't have anyone RSVP until the night before. And it was just one! Good thing she brought her girls! Thanks Aunt Tonna.)

All in all it was a very cute shower!
